Christian Education

Provide teaching opportunities for approved teachers and learning opportunities for Christian Education attendees and participants. This includes, but not limited to, our bi-annual Word Enrichment Series that meets for 6 weeks in the Spring and the Fall. Members pre-register for classes that meet every Wednesday evening during the 6-week period covering relevant topics.

Membership Fast Track

The Membership Fast Track program is designed to prepare every member of Healing Streams for effective service in the Kingdom of God. We are committed to helping you understand your God-given purpose, as well as to move you down the track into the fast lane of destiny. Nine classes that move members from Spiritual Formation to Christian Foundation and ultimately to Ministry Service.
Meets every Sunday at 9:30am for nine weeks.

Gap prayer Ministry

Intercessory prayer ministry responsible for the prayer and under-girding of the overall ministry in various ways. Leads Wednesday prayer power hour from 6 – 7 pm and active on Sundays and other services during altar calls.

Ushers & Greeters

Greets members and visitors for each service; maintain order around the church and serve members and visitors during worship services.

Hospitality/Pastor’s Aid

Oversees and serves food and refreshments at various church events and functions. Provides love, encouragement, and support to the Senior Pastor and Associates as requested.

Care Ministry

A team of lay ministers equipped to support new members and believers in their first several months of joining the church.  A “care coach” is assigned to each new member upon joining.

Drive-by prayer vigil

A street outreach team who organizes and facilitates prayer vigils for families of homicide victims throughout the city of Indianapolis.  Volunteers needed to plan, prepare and facilitate vigils in various roles and capacities.

Teachers and parent volunteers who plan and oversee lessons and activities for ourchildren during Sunday worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. 

celebrate recovery

Facilitate weekly meetings for individuals struggling with drugs, alcohol and other addictions.  Weekly meetings held every Friday evening, 7pm, at The Unity Center, 2163 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis.

food pantry

Volunteers who maintain our food pantry, pickup food monthly from Midwest Food Bank, and prepare food boxes for various outreach events (i.e. Drive-by Prayer Vigils) and monthly community give-aways.

clean stream

Volunteers who provide weekly janitorial and maintenance services for our church facilities. 

praise team

The Praise Team ushers in the presence of Holy Spirit through music ministry during our weekly services (Sunday and Wednesdays) and other special services. 


This team oversees the sound and video (including webstreaming) during our weekly and special services and events.  This area also includes our Easyworship projection operator.
