📖 Instructions to Intercessors
Five intercessors have been selected to pray over the five themes from the My Story, His Glory series, each from a designated microphone down front.
Each intercessor will be assigned a theme and scripture foundation from which to pray. Pray the Word!—let scripture guide and anchor your prayer.
A suggested sample prayer is provided to help you stay centered on the theme. Do not recite it word for word—it’s simply a jumpstart to inspire your Spirit-led prayer.
Timeframe: Each intercessor will pray no more than 5 minutes for each of their two assigned prayer areas, in the order listed below. Stand close by to take the mic once previous intercessor concludes their prayer.
Focus: This is not meant to limit the Holy Spirit, but to bring unity and direction to our intercession.
Schedule: Prayer begins exactly at 7:00 PM and concludes promptly at 8:00 PM.

🔥 Prayer Themes & Scriptures
1️⃣ Theme: My Story Has Purpose [Intercessors #1 & #2]
Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Prayer: Lord, remind us that every chapter of our story—painful or joyful—is working toward Your purpose. Help us to trust Your plan even when we don’t understand the plot.
2️⃣ Theme: My Story Is Being Redeemed [Intercessors #3 & #4]
Joel 2:25 – “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.”
Romans 8:1 – “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Prayer: Father, thank You for rewriting our broken stories through grace. Restore lost years, heal old wounds, and let redemption become our testimony of Your mercy.
3️⃣ Theme: My Story Is Not Finished [Intercessors #5 & #1]
Philippians 1:6 – “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Habakkuk 2:3 – “For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.”
Prayer: Lord, give us faith to wait with hope. Remind us that delays aren’t denials and that You’re still writing the next chapter of our lives for Your glory.
4️⃣ Theme: My Story Speaks to Others [Intercessors #2 & #3]
2 Corinthians 3:3 – “You show that you are a letter from Christ… written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God.”
Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Prayer: God, let our testimonies speak louder than our trials. May others read the story of Your grace written through our lives and be drawn to Jesus.
5️⃣ Theme: My Story Gives God Glory [Intercessors #4 & #5]
Psalm 115:1 – “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.”
John 9:3 – “This happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
Prayer: Lord, we give You glory for every victory and every valley. Use our stories to display Your power, reveal Your mercy, and draw others to the light of Your Son.
