Mission: Accomplished . We're Moving!
Update: Service location for sunday, 1/15/17
The closing date for our new church home has been moved out, so we will again worship at New Wineskin Ministries (4501 W. 38th Street) this Sunday, Jan. 15th, 11am.
A great big GOD BLESS YOU to everyone who has sown into MISSION MOVE and those who are still completing your seed commitment. It's raining on your seed and something great is about to spring forth!

THE return JOURNEY to 1424 N. tibbs avenue
Serving as church administrator, worship leader and associate minister at a church on the west side of Indy in the early 90's located at 1424 N. Tibbs Avenue, I was asked by the senior pastor if the Lord was calling me to pastor the church as he was making plans to retire. The Lord clearly directed me to respond with a negative but allowed me to oversee the ministry during the pastor's 3 month sabbatical. The Holy Spirit ministered powerfully over the 3 months and we continued to serve faithfully amid challenges within the church following the 3 month sabbatical until we later accepted a position with Promise Keepers Men's Ministry.
Promise Keepers moved our family to Nashville, Tennessee, in the mid-90's, where we served as a regional director, however, one year later the Lord breathed two words through prayer that brought us back to Indy - "Unfinished Business!"
We were offered an associate pastor role at the Eastern Star Church (Indy) where we served for several years before launching Healing Streams in the Spring of 2003. The prayer and financial support of Pastor Jeffrey Johnson and Eastern Star assured us a smooth transition for the first year of our launch.
INTERESTING TURN OF EVENTS
Over the past 13 years, Healing Streams has experienced an interesting turn of events. After worshiping for one year at the Walker Theater (downtown Indy), the door opened to a former Loews Theater building on the west side where we worshiped for 11 years in a facility that was supposedly donated to the ministry but later taken from the ministry and to this date remains uninhabited. When the doors closed at the theater, the Holy Spirit led us into a 2-1/2 year respite with the blessings of Bishop C. Shawn Tyson and Christ Church Apostolic. Utilizing their chapel for Sunday and Mid-week services, Christ Church made it so comfortable it was hard to think about leaving. I understand now that it was God's "rest stop" to prepare us for the rest of the journey.
THE MISSION MOVE DIRECTIVE
It was August of this year that the Lord prompted us to begin a 5-month faith journey from Grace to Favor titled MISSION MOVE. For five months we were to pray daily while sowing a $50,000.00 corporate seed towards a $500,000.00 finance and favor blessing.
About mid December, our realtor called and advised us that a church just came on the market located on the west side. When he gave us the exact address: 1424 N. Tibbs Ave., I suddenly went into rewind mode. It was the same church building where the Lord instructed me not to accept a position as senior pastor at that time. The Lord has literally brought us full circle by way of Nashville to direct us back to the place where He has made plans to complete the "unfinished business!"
"Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?" (Romans 11:34 NIV)
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! At exactly 11pm, December 31, 2016, the Mission was accomplished as we received and signed the purchase documents for our new location. Although the journey has been ongoing, it's really just beginning. The cloud has lifted; the cloud is moving and the destiny is GLORY!
We still need you to sow a MISSION MOVE seed as we move toward our closing date. Your gift will help us reach our overall goal of $50,000.00!
