MEMORIAMS
Homegoing Service for Margery “Mom” Crowe – Volunteers Needed for Repass
Dear Streams Church Family,
With heartfelt love and reverence, we announce the Homegoing Memorial Service for Mom Margery Crowe, scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at The Streams Church, 3425 Boulevard Place, Indianapolis, IN.
Following the memorial service, we will host a repass for the family in the lower level of the church. We are currently in need of volunteers who can assist with contributions—whether through prepared food items or financial donations to help support this effort.
If you are able to assist in any way, please see Sister Patty Barnes or simply click the link below to sign up and indicate your level of interest. A sign up form will also be available in the lobby following Sunday Worship (July 27th).
Mom Crowe served faithfully at The Streams since its inception, wearing many hats—Elder, Hospitality and Usher Captain, Teacher, and countless other roles. She was a mother to many, always greeting others with her signature smile and heartfelt encouragement.
We also want to extend a special thank you to the Care Teams who ensured she made it to and from services, and who visited her faithfully during her time in nursing care. Your labor of love has not gone unnoticed and is deeply appreciated by both the church and her family.
Let us come together as one body to honor her legacy and celebrate her life of service to Christ and His church.
With gratitude,
Pastor A. Thomas Hill
Senior Pastor, The Streams Church
Homegoing Services for the Brother of Eld. Willie Lipsey: Alvin M. Lipsey
Additional Memorial Announcement: The Lipsey Family
As we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Mom Margery Crowe on Saturday, August 9, 2025, we also ask that you keep Elder Willie Lipsey and his family lifted in prayer.
Elder Lipsey will be traveling to South Bend, Indiana, that same weekend to memorialize the life of his beloved brother, Alvin M. Lipsey. This service follows the recent passing of two other close family members—his sister, Pastor Lisa Lipsey, and a nephew—all within just a few months.
Let us cover Elder Lipsey and his family in prayer during this season of compounded grief.
