STREAMING LIFE GROUPS

“Let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Life Groups are “small groups of people who meet regularly online during the week to study and apply biblical truths, share about their lives, minister to and support one another, and be accountable to one another spiritually.”
Groups meet virtually (via Zoom) on a designated day and time (determined by the group leader) for 59 Minutes! That’s right — all groups will only connect for 59 minutes weekly and group leaders have been instructed to formally dismiss. Should one or more members need more time to share, group leaders will allow all others to disconnect. Beginning September 2023, local members of the group will meet in person (with out-of-town members connecting via Zoom). Periodic group service projects will promote fellowship and local mission opportunities for group members.
Connecting to Zoom DOES NOT mean you have to be seen (video). Although it would be desired for group members to both see and hear you, you ARE NOT REQUIRED to select the video option of Zoom - only the audio.
Once you sign up and are assigned a Life Group, you can directly connect to a group’s link from the homepage of our website: thestreams.org.

I AM INTERESTED IN a STREAMING LIFE GROUP!
HOW IT WORKS:
Life Groups will meet one day each week via Zoom for 59 minutes.
A Zoom link will be provided to each person in the group to connect weekly. Links will be provided by the facilitator.
Groups will average around 10-12 members. Feel free to personally invite your friends and family to join your group. Everyone MUST pre-register online to be accepted in a group.
Group members are encouraged to discuss scripture passages from the weekly Wake Up Word as facilitated Monday-Friday (7:15am) with Pastor A. Thomas Hill via the Prayerline, Facebook and Youtube Live. If your work schedule doesn’t allow you to connect with the Prayerline or Wake Up Word in the mornings, the recorded daily sessions can be viewed from the Streams Church Facebook or YouTube page. Log on to our Streams Homepage to watch (www.thestreams.org). In addition, groups should feel free to share their personal testimonies and words of encouragement with other group members.
This is a time of family fellowship, so have fun sharing!
