Streams Church Family,

Our Church Cleanup Day is this Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, and we’re asking everyone who can to help us care for the house God has entrusted to us.

We realize this is short notice, and we appreciate your flexibility. The next two Saturdays are already committed to important events at the church:

Saturday, September 19 — Funeral
Saturday, September 26 — 12 Angry Jurors Production Weekend

Because of these scheduled events, this Saturday gives us the best opportunity to come together and give our church home some needed attention.

We’re also organizing Cleanup Day a little differently because we want to respect your time.

Instead of arriving at the church and waiting to receive an assignment, you can choose your cleanup area BEFORE Saturday.

Simply open the signup sheet by clicking here, find an area marked AVAILABLE, and enter your name, family name, or team name in the VOLUNTEER / TEAM column. Once an area has been selected, it will automatically show as CLAIMED, helping us avoid duplicate assignments.

COME. CLEAN. COMPLETE. GO.

When you arrive Saturday:

• Go directly to your assigned area.
• Complete the cleanup checklist for that area.
• Have your area checked when finished.
• Then you're free to go!

You do not have to stay from 9:00 AM until noon, and you don't have to hang around waiting for another assignment. If your assignment takes 30 minutes, an hour, or longer, that's fine. Once your area is completed, your commitment is complete.

You may volunteer individually, as a couple, as a family, or as a small team.

There are more than 30 areas throughout the church that need our attention, including the sanctuary, lobby, restrooms, offices, kitchen, fellowship hall, children's and youth areas, stage and backstage areas, stairwells, baptistry, and more.

We know this request comes at the last minute, so whatever time you can give will be greatly appreciated. Many hands + specific assignments = a cleaner church without taking up your entire Saturday morning!
