# AUTHOR PARTICIPATION
Because we have **over 40 contributing authors**, only a **select number of authors will be chosen to share a brief excerpt from their chapter on stage**, followed by a portion of their companion song.
However:
✔ **Every author in attendance will have an opportunity to share a portion of their story at their table** with their guests during the breakfast portion of the program.
This allows friends and family to personally hear the story behind your chapter.

# FILLING YOUR TABLE
Authors are encouraged to **invite friends and family to join them at their table for breakfast**.
Each table seats **10 guests**.
You do not need to fill an entire table, but inviting **6–8 guests** helps make the morning more meaningful and ensures strong attendance for the event.

My Story. His Glory.
Author Book Sales Strategy for the Release Breakfast
Each author will have the opportunity to sell and sign books at their table following the program.
This is a wonderful moment for guests to take home the story they just heard.
Step 1 — Order Enough Books
Authors may purchase books for $6 per copy and sell them for $12 retail.
We recommend ordering 10–20 copies minimum.
If an author invites 8 guests, many will want a copy after hearing the story.
Remember:
📅 Order deadline: March 15, 2026
This ensures books arrive in time for the event.
Step 2 — Let Guests Know in Advance
Authors can mention this when inviting people:
“I’ll have copies of the book available at my table if you’d like one signed.”
This prepares guests to purchase.
Step 3 — Display Books on the Table
At the end of the program, place several copies on the table so guests can see them.
Simple table setup:
• Stack of books
• Pen for signing
• Small sign that says:
Signed Copies Available – $12
Step 4 — Personal Signing Moment
We encourage authors to sign each book personally.
Example inscription:
“Thank you for sharing this special day with me.
May this story encourage you in your own journey.
– [Author Name]”
This makes the book much more meaningful.
Step 5 — Accept Simple Payments
Authors can collect payment through:
• Cash
• Cash App
• Venmo
• Zelle
Or any simple method they prefer. Note: It’s up to each author to setup their own payment instrument (i.e. cashapp, etc).
Step 6 — Encourage Guests to Explore Other Stories
Remind guests:
“There are over 40 stories in this book.”
Many guests will buy additional copies for family members.
Step 7 — If You Sell Out of Books
If an author runs out of books during the event, we encourage you to take preorders and collect pre-payment from guests.
Authors can then place an order with SCS Publishing at the author price of $6 per book and deliver the books to their guests once they arrive. (Pastor Hill is the point person for SCS Publishing).
This ensures that no sales opportunities are missed and that guests who want a copy will still receive one. Once the books arrive, you will be notified when you can pick them up from The Streams Church. Download copies of order form from link below and feel free to make as many copies as you like. Make sure you bring to the event.

Step 8 — Group Photo Moment
After signing books, take table photos with guests.
These photos can later be shared on social media to help continue promoting the book.
Important Reminder
Books will also be available on Amazon Kindle (paperback and eBook), but authors do not receive royalties from Amazon purchases made by consumers online.
Selling copies personally at the event is the best opportunity for authors to share and distribute their story.
Final Encouragement
This event is not just about selling books—it is about sharing testimonies that glorify God.
Each book placed in someone’s hands becomes another memorial stone declaring what the Lord has done.
